Assessments & Screenings – used to meet your child where they are at
Initial screening and inventory assessments will be completed before the first official lesson. Any formal testing results from school or other outside source would be beneficial to consider for placement. Taking in the bigger picture will allow me to identify strengths and weaknesses and establish a baseline for your child’s plan of study throughout our lessons. Screenings and inventories will be completed within 1-2 sessions, then scored and compiled in a report with a goal to aim toward during our time together. These screening and assessment results are not a diagnosis, but provide the information needed to guide lesson planning.
Tuition Model – Equal Payment Plan
Payment is calculated using the tuition model. The total amount for the “semester” is calculated, then divided evenly over the total months. This allows for budgeting and planning, so payments are equal for each month throughout the semester. This way the payments aren’t varying wildly per month (for example, $400 due September 1, $320 due December 1, etc.). Below is a sample of what a semester could look like. One sick day per semester is included if you need to cancel for any reason. If this isn’t used, you get a free lesson! Families love the tuition/equal-payment model because of its consistency and predictability!
